Cobb County, GA - Robert Williams Davis, 38, is no fan of pit bulls, apparently; he now sits in jail on a $250,000 bond after being charged with killing two pit pups this past Saturday.
Davis’ neighbor, 14-year-old Tyler Tedesco, gave the pits to Davis and his girlfriend to watch temporarily, until a pit bull rescue group could come and pick up the dogs. The pittie rescuers had planned to come sometime this week to retrieve the pits.
But instead of playing pittie sitter, Davis turned into a dog Dexter: he allegedly beheaded one pup, and killed the other by stabbing it in the throat with a pair of scissors.
Tedesco said Davis confessed his act of canicide to him, but then added he was “just messin’ around.” Skeptical of Davis’ back-tracking, Tedesco searched his neighbor’s yard and found the pups’ bodies buried in a shallow grave. He then called 911.
“I saw that, I dropped what I was doing, and just walked away,” said Tyler. “I couldn’t bear to see that, because I raised them dogs.”
Davis the Doggie Dexter was charged with two counts of aggravated animal cruelty and is being held in the Cobb County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

Davis worked as a landscaper before the pittie-cide incident; I don’t know what he’ll do once he gets out of jail, but I’m guessing he’ll never work as a pet sitter again.
